«GastroWine Tour» Guided Route through Tenerife South vineyards + wine tasting + visit local market (Children)

An experience that will make you feel like a real local! You will be able to see, touch, smell and even taste or buy the products that fill the plates (and the glasses!) of the Canarians daily. A unique walk through history, traditions and products presented by the producers themselves.

After the pick-up we will go to the San Miguel de Abona Farmer’s Market, located in the south of the island.
There we can visit the different stands where farmers and artisans show their products for sale, among them we can find fruits, vegetables, flowers, cheeses, bread and pastries, mojos and wines.

Visitors will have free time to visit the different stands and have closer contact with the local population and the local product.

After visiting the market, we will make a stop at the La Centinela Viewpoint from where we will have a great panoramic view of the south of the island: a landscape dotted with volcanic structures, in addition, you can see terraces, abandoned orchards and old roads that are the reflection of the great traditional agricultural activity that existed in the past.

We will also have the opportunity to make a short stop in Vilaflor. It is a town with a unique charm, being one of the highest towns in Spain, surrounded by pine forests, and its small houses and beautiful cobblestone streets convey a calm and rural atmosphere. In its economy, the cultivation of potatoes, vines and almond trees stands out, favored by the quality of its lands and waters.

Finally we will enter the El Lagar de Chasna Winery. Here we will tour the vineyards and take a guided tour of the winery where the winemaking process will be explained and we will finish in the best way: we will do a tasting of a selection of 5 wines accompanied by some typical Canarian tapas: potatoes with mojo, toasts almogrote and chorizo ​​dog, Canarian cheese board and a special tapa of the day.

Once the visit to the winery is over, we will begin the return trip to arrive at the hotel at lunch time.
