Bodegas Cráter, is a small winery that was born in 1998, by a group of friends who love the land that surrounds them in the Tacoronte-Acentejo Denomination of Origin and their wines, which began with great hope and enthusiasm, to produce wines seeking excellence. .
Knowing the vineyard and varieties that we have, we wanted to make a personal and unique wine, marked by our Atlantic climate, volcanic soil and typicity.
Our vineyards are located between 200 and 600 meters above sea level on the northern slope of the island of Tenerife, where we work with native varieties to make our wines.
Cráter White
Grape variety: White Listán and Verdello
Tasting: Nice yellow color, with greenish flashes, clean and bright. Sweet aroma, with notes of stone fruit, citrus, slight reminiscence of fine lees. Tasty, velvety, hints of fruit, nuts, light sweetness, long and fresh finish.
Cráter El joven Red
Grape variety: Black Listán
Tasting: Violet in color with purple reflections and medium tears. Medium aromatic intensity, aromas of forest fruits and spices. Dry, meaty and broad on the palate, leaving an elegant final freshness.
Cráter Red
Grape variety: Black Listán and Negramoll
Tasting: Intense garnet red color, with a purple rim. Fresh and fragrant, elegant, aroma of gunpowder, black licorice, liqueur plums. Fresh, friendly, round, tasty, sensation of wood grain, black ash, cocoa, finally fresh, fluid mid palate and minimal astringency.
Magma Red
Grape variety: Negramoll and Syrah
Tasting: Intense red color, density and vigor. Great aromatic power marked by very ripe black fruit, spices. Latent wood, eucalyptus, licorice and a finish of violets. Body, great flavor, sweet notes, sweet tannins and the fineness of the wood marking a bitterness that is as soft as it is elegant.
